Green technology is a part of our daily lives. Examples from the real world are:

  • It helps to make electric vehicles like cars, buses, and even trucks which are powered by electricity and used for travel. They cut down on pollution and running costs, especially when used with renewable energy sources.

  • It helps advanced recycling plants which can now turn plastic into fuel, food waste into compost, and industrial waste into new raw materials.

Worldwide projects in Green technology

In Indonesia many companies making progress in green technology, like electric buses, solar panels and forklifts to cut down on emissions. They are making green-certified buildings and an eco-friendly film roll plant that uses energy-efficient systems.

Germany is also using renewable energy and put €11.8 billion ($13.81 billion) into international climate financing to help projects that use renewable energy and make them adapt to climate change.

Norway is the country with the most electric vehicles, 88.9% (2024) new cars sold were fully electric. The government gives tax breaks and other incentives to buy electric vehicles for public, which is why so many people are buying them.
